mason’s jar. began in 2016 when my infant Mason developed baby eczema: red, scaly patches that irritated his delicate skin. After months of frustrating doctor visits and over-the-counter creams, I was left with a diagnosis but no real solution. The idea of using steroids on my five-month-old was terrifying, so I turned to natural remedies.

Through research, I discovered the soothing power of essential oils, coconut oil, olive oil, and beeswax. After experimenting with high-quality, natural ingredients, I created a recipe that finally calmed Mason’s skin. Soon, my family and friends started using it too - and loving it. I began gifting jars of body butter at holidays and parties, and before long, I kept hearing the same question: “When are you going to sell this?”

As a working mom with three kids, starting a business felt daunting, but I believed in what I had created. So, I took the leap, and mason’s jar. was born.
